ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS

SLOW THING specializes in vintage and pre-owned denim. Each item is individually sourced and may show signs of age, previous wear, fading, repairs, or other characteristics consistent with its history.

Every effort is made to accurately photograph, measure, and describe each item, including significant flaws or imperfections.

Because vintage garments have been worn and cared for differently over time, sizing and fit may vary even between items with identical tagged sizes. Customers are encouraged to review all measurements and product descriptions carefully before purchasing.

PRICING & AVAILABILITY

All prices are listed in US dollars unless otherwise stated.

Products are generally one-of-a-kind and available in limited quantities. Adding an item to your cart does not guarantee its availability until checkout is completed.

SLOW THING reserves the right to correct pricing or listing errors and to cancel orders when necessary. If a paid order is canceled by the shop, the payment will be refunded.

ORDERS & PAYMENT

Orders are subject to payment authorization and acceptance.

Payments will be processed through supported third-party payment providers. Available payment methods will be displayed at checkout.

Applicable shipping charges and taxes, if any, will be shown before an order is completed.

SHIPPING

SLOW THING currently ships within the United States only.

All orders are packaged and shipped via USPS Priority Mail with tracking within 1–3 business days of purchase.

Once your order has shipped, tracking information will be provided. Delivery times are estimates, and carrier delays are outside of SLOW THING's direct control.

Orders totaling over $250 require a signature upon delivery.

RETURNS & SHOP CREDIT

All sales are final. Because each item is one-of-a-kind vintage, standard returns, refunds, and order cancellations are not accepted, except as described below or as required by applicable law.

Shop Credit Exchanges

If an item does not fit as expected, customers may request a return for shop credit under the following conditions:

1. Customers must contact SLOW THING within 3 days of confirmed delivery to request authorization. All returns must be approved before being shipped back.

2. Approved returns must be shipped back within 7 days of the original delivery date.

3. Returned items must be unworn, unwashed, and in the same condition in which they were received.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Once an approved return has been received and inspected, shop credit will be issued digitally as a SLOW THING gift card for the amount actually paid for the item after any discounts, excluding shipping charges.

Shop credit does not expire and may be redeemed toward future purchases on the SLOW THING website. Gift cards are subject to applicable gift-card terms and laws, including any legally required cash redemption of remaining balances.

Item Condition & Order Issues

All items are carefully inspected, measured, photographed, and described before being listed. As vintage garments, they may show signs of age and previous wear, including fading, distressing, repairs, and other characteristics disclosed in their descriptions and photographs.

Please review all listing information before purchasing. Minor differences in color resulting from individual screen settings, lighting, or display calibration are not considered inaccuracies in the product description.

If you receive an incorrect item, discover a significant condition issue that was not disclosed in the listing, or find that your package or its contents were damaged during shipping, please contact slowthingvintage@gmail.com within 3 days of delivery whenever possible.

Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the item and, where relevant, its packaging.

Reported issues will be reviewed individually against the original listing details and available shipping information. Customers may be asked to provide additional photographs or retain the original packaging while a shipping damage claim is investigated.

A change of mind, dissatisfaction with fit, disclosed signs of vintage wear, or minor differences in color are not grounds for a cash refund. Fit-related returns may qualify for shop credit under the conditions outlined above.

Any refund, replacement, or other resolution will be determined based on the circumstances of the issue and applicable law. Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies available under applicable consumer protection laws.

PROMOTIONS & DISCOUNTS

SLOW THING may occasionally offer promotional discounts, newsletter subscriber benefits, or early-access shopping opportunities.

Promotions are subject to the eligibility requirements, expiration dates, and other conditions stated at the time of the offer.

Discounts cannot be applied retroactively to completed purchases unless otherwise stated.
